Alpha Estate Syrah Single Vineyard "Schildkröten", Rotwein, Florina g.g.A. (geschützte geografische Angabe)

Gebiet/Lage:
Weinbaugebiet Amyndeon "Schildkröten" in 640-650m ü. d. M. NW Ausrichtung zum Berg Voras.

Analysenwerte:
Alkohol: 14% vol.
Gesamtsäure: 6,4g/l
Restzucker: 2,7g/l
pH-Wert: 3,37

Vinifikation/Ausbau:
Abbeeren, Kaltmazeration in kontrollierter Umgebung. Alkoholgärung bei abgestuften Temperaturen. Der Wein wird drei Monate auf den Hefen belassen und periodisch umgerührt. Anfangs wird der Wein 12 Monate in ausgewählten französischen, feinporigen und mittelstark ausgebrannten Eichenfässern gelagert. Im Anschluss wird er in Flaschen abgefüllt und verbleibt dort 15 Monate bis zum Verkauf.

Degustationsnotiz:
Leuchtend tiefes rubinrot mit violettem Schimmer. Kräftiges komplexes Bukett, erdig, mit Waldbeeren- und Pfefferaromen Im Geschmack großzügig, samtig, rund, ausgewogen und voll, mit Vanille- und Mokkaaromen. Diskrete- und ausgewogene Töne beim Abgang, der lang anhaltende Ausklang wird vor allem von Milchkaramelbonbon-Aromen beherscht. Ein Wein mit ausgezeichnetem Lagerpotenzial.

Trinkempfehlung:
Harmonischer Begleiter aller saftigen dunklen Fleischsorten, gebratenen Pilzen, Lammbraten, Wildgeflügel und reifen milden Weichkäsesorten.

Ideale Serviertemperatur 16-18°C
